After 56 preliminary events, the Main Event began on July 5 and ran through July 17, though the final nine weren’t determined until nearly 6am the following morning.

Now is when it gets interesting.Day 4 of the 2010 World Series of Poker $10K NLHE World Championship took the players past the tension of the money bubble, the heartbreak of just missing a payout, and into the minimum amount of money that could make players happy in the Main Event. Needless to say, it was a stressful day full of a mix of emotions.Day 5, however, took everything to a new level.

All around the country summer is sizzling and in Vegas, the World Series of Poker is winding down and the final dance is underway – the Main Event No Limit Holdem Championship.

It was the last of the 56 preliminary events at the 2010 World Series of Poker, and it didn’t fail to impress. The $2,500 NLHE event caught the attention of players arriving in Las Vegas, as well as pros looking for one last chance to cash before the Main Event.
